weighed the birds again...

so i have to borrow the scale from my fiance's mom so its been a bit. i weighed them last before munch was sick when i was trying to switch the lovies over to pellets.

so i suspected munch has gained since then.

PAST weights:
munch: 56 grams
mango 46 grams
dally: 89 grams
tsuka: 110 grams


NOW, these are their current weights

munch: 60 grams
mango: 50 grams
dally: 89 grams
tsuka: 120 grams








so everyone is where they should be.

tsuka is flighted now, thats why hes gained. hes not so fat anymore, hes solid. mango needed to bulk up a bit, hes our smallest. so its good hes gained. and munch was sick before and was a tad small, now her chest is very round and well muscled and she weighs a good amount lol (moose!) dally is dainty and will always be small. when we got her she only weighed 69 grams so 89 is a good weight for her

I'm glad to hear that Munch has gained weight after her desease; It means she has recovered very well ..
It's strange the gap of 30 grams among tsuka and Dally; I'm sure there are some birds bigger than others but it doesn't mean that they are more healthy than the smaller.
Thus I'm convinced that Dally is healthy just as much as tsuka.

dally is just very petite. tsuka is a larger bird. hes a big boy. dally is just a dainty little girl lol


im actually curious on the lovebirds weights. isnt 60 grams large for a peachy? munch is not fat but 60 grams seems huge

I know the average weight is 50 grams; anyway it is just an "avarage" weight; you can find healthy Peachs which have a variable weight since 40 grams until 60 grams;
As far the Peachs you have to consider that there are two different size types, for this reason it's really hard to define the standard weight for this species;
I'm sure the health of Much is perfect so in your shoes I would not be worried;
