ho bisogno del vostro aiuto..I need your help

Ciao a tutti,
ho un nigrigenis blu cobalto del 2010 che è stato preso di mira da qualche altro bullo della sua famiglia;
è stato per alcuni giorni beccato e picato in corrispondenza dell'ala;
Appena me ne sono accorto l'ho separato, ma adesso a distanza di giorni ho notato che si è formata una brutta lumps in corrispondenza della zona deplumata;
Ieri sono andato in farmacia per comprare dello spray di Aloe ma non trovandolo ho optato per cicatrene in polvere;
L'ala non ha perso la funzione; l'uccello è in grado di volare; questo è buon segno per me ma ho il timore che l'nfezione possa progredire in modo irreversibile per cui vorrei prenderla in tempo;
Qualcuno ha affrontato simili casi?
Vi allego delle foto per rendere meglio l'idea del problema.

I have a blue nigrigenis, he is 2 years old;
Unfortunately he has been plucked near at his wing by some bully "friends";
I separated him by the other birds but now I have noticed that he has a bad infection where he has been plucked;
I wanted to buy spray or gel aloe to reduce the itch ( I noticed he scratches the wound);but I was not able to find it;
Thus I bought CICATRENE; do you know it?
Fortunately the bird is able to fly yet; it is a good thing for me but I am afraid the infection can become worse than today;
I would like to ask if there is someone that has had a similar trouble in the past with his parrot;
I'm going to attach some pics to show you the problem that I have tried to explain above;

Dalle foto non sembra niente di preoccupante, anche se la zona della ferita è soggetta a continui movimenti e pregiudica la guarigione della stessa. Da quanti giorni hai iniziato ?

lo stavano picando 2 settimane fa; così l'ho isolato dagli altri e solo ieri,però, ho notato la sua ferita;

2 settimane...se doveva succedere qualcosa dovuto ad infezioni sarebbe già successo, dagli il tempo, le piume ci mettono una 15 di giorni a spuntare e credo che sia proprio per quello che la ferita è gonfia.

Più che con il cicatrene, proverei una pomata antibiotica

aloe vera has antiseptic properties it doesnt look infected, just sore. i would keep it dry.

because its under his wings, do you think he may be plucking himself?

he sure is cute though, i hope he gets better fast!

X Casey: I saw his "friends" to attack him , thus I assumed the root cause was the aggressive behaviour of the flock;
Since I have separeted him from the flock, I have noticed there are not feathers on the floor anymore which means the bird doesn't pluck himself (at least I think);
The Aloe was the first thing that I thought when I saw thr wound .. I agree, the ALOE proprierties are endless; I have been using the aloe but I believe the aloe removes the itch but it doesn't remove quickly the infection;
I deem the Aloe is relieving his pain;

cayenne pepper has antibiotic properties and so does honey, but honey is sticky and cayenne pepper can make the wound sting.

I read about the miraculous properties of the honey, in particular, I was told that the manuba honey can heal the wound in short time; however it's hard to find manuba honey in Turin;
I would avoid to apply the simple honey for the fact it is very sticky just as you wrote;
I will buy the antibiotic gel that Iris suggested above, even if I have to admit that the aloe is working; I'm noticing an improvement day by day.

i have used aloe as an antibiotic cream for my own cuts and my birds and have always been really happy with the results.
Munch nearly took off Tsuka's toe and it was aloe vera that i used to prevent infection and it works wonders and it is good for the bird if they eat it, its packed with vitamin E

its what i use the most. its not sticky or really messy, doesnt smell and its nontoxic and soothing.

Ho letto delle proprietà antibiotiche del miele ma, mi sembra dicessero che andava ingerito.

I have readed something abuou antibiotic property of honey but it seems me that they say it must be eated!

Il miele non è solo un antibiotico naturale, ma cura molte ferite ed è un cicatrizzante.

si si... io lo faccio ancora ora... porto ad ebollizione un pò d'aqua, ci spremo dentro uno o due limoni, aggiungo miele e magari un pò di grappa o cogna.. lo bevo e mi passa ogni mal'anno

A questo punto la cosa si complica: può darsi che anche grappa e cognac siano degli antibiotici (oltre che anestetici) naturali

Io ho provato spesso l'aglio, prima che arrivi una brutta influenza, se è ancora sui 37.2, mangio 3 spicchi d'aglio, faccio un bagno caldissimo e vado a letto, funziona sempre, ma dopo vi tocca l'isolamento lo stesso. Se la febbre supera tale temperatura vuol dire che l'infezione è già in atto e allora ci vuole l'antibiotico.

la grappa, o cmq i distillati (alcol), sono ottimi conduttori. Pentrano direttamente nel sangue che a sua volta va agli organi.. Perciò nella medicina, soprattutto quella omeopatica, si fa uso dell'alcol.


Si Iris, anche l'aglio è ottimo. Ma ce un unico problema (e non mi riferisco all'alito). L'aglio abbassa la pressione. Una persona che soffre di pressione bassa o che ha febbre o altre malattie e dnq è debole potrebbe stare peggio con l'aglio... Mia madre è perfino svenuta dopo averne mangiato...

Ottima tisana in caso di bronchite o altre forme di raffreddore è fare bollire in una tazza d'acqua un limone intero (non tagliato o bucarellato) e uno spicchio d'aglio in camicia. dopo i 7 minuti togliere aglio e limone e bere la tisana calda....
